Serving young people for 50 years. Three horizons, one heartbeat. We help schools with world-leading wellbeing programs, equip churches to care for the young people in their communities, and stand with Nepali people against trafficking.
Youth Dimension began in 1978, as a small organisation
who worked with junior high school students across Melbourne.
Since then, Youth Dimension has not only developed its schools
work - equipping over 100 churches Australia-wide to run a lunch-time
program in their local high school - but has also developed a
number of other ministries that are helping churches to come in
contact with young Australians.
The programs Youth Dimension runs are:
- Gravitate - A nationally recognised VET qualification in Christian Ministry and Theology.
- Internship - The original YD course — changing lives through discipleship and mission since 1978.
- Blue Moose - Run a pop-up youth drop-in centre.
- Church Coaching - For 50 years, YD has come alongside churches to equip them in evangelism and youth ministry.
- REFOCUS / REBOOT - Secondary school lunchtime program to introduce evidence-based wellbeing principles in a high-energy, fun-packed way.
- The Happy House - Aa research-backed wellbeing curriculum designed for primary school students, helping kids understand themselves, their emotions, and how to flourish in life.
- Anti-Trafficing - Partnering with a grassroots organisation to fight human trafficking in Nepal through education and prevention.
- Nepal Trek - An incredible opportunity to experience Nepali culture.
- Break the Cycle - Collaboration with Eden Jewelry to create a bracelet that changes lives.
