Glen Park Gospel Church >> Church >> Involvement

The church has people actively involved in Mission organisations.

Creation Ministries International is a mission which shows how science and the Bible are step with each other, to debunk athiest stories that fail scientific inquiry. Laurie & Valmai Maskell often meet with churches and other groups, usually around Victoria in support of those invited to speak on various science topics, particularly around human origins.

The Oakover Singers is a Choir based in All Saints Anglican Church in Greensborough. Their ministry is appreciated regularly and may be invited to other churches. Erin Maskell is also a part of this ministry.

LinC stands for Love in the name of Christ and is a collaboration of many churches from the local area to provide welfare support for those struggling to stay on top. LinC tries to meet the mundane needs of the elderly or infirm, and those with temporary needs that can be met with a helping hand or listenning ear. Ann Hutchinson and others are often called apon to provide transport or food, to visit, or to cook a meal. LinC can be found through-out the world, but each group is separate and local.

This website, glenparkgospel.org.au, is maintained by Philip Trinham and is under a bit of an overhaul now that he has some time on hand. Finally, the Gospel message is explained in a new section. Joan Smith provided some stories from our history and there is plenty of contact info for missions that we support.

We pray regularly for many missions and particular missionaries. And we also invite them to present their work during our regular services.
