Glen Park Gospel Church >> Easter >> 2002 Good Friday in the Park

What a contrast to year 2001 with its beautiful day and large crowd. For Easter 2002 we waited until ten for the rain to clear, however it just kept coming, not heavy, but enough of it.

Whilst many must have decided that there were other things on a wet Good Friday morning, more than fifty people came with us when we decided to relocate to the Church hall, just up the hill.

There were people we have known for years, and there were some we met for the first time. Steve Messer and his band were excellent and there was a clear testimony to the real meaning of Easter.
